It was a pleasant stay. We were a group of two families with three young kids. It was our first experience staying in a Japanese traditional house as well as in the courtyside. Both adults and children enjoyed our stay there.
There are three bedrooms with futon on the first floor, the second floor is not accessible. The living room with the kitchen is well maintained, especially the kitchen. It is very helpful if you cook meals in the house. Since the closest supermarket is about 30 minutes driving away, we did grocery shopping before we arrived and stored everything in the fridge. That turned out to be a wise move. The traditional BBQ was fun but can be smoky. The shower room and two toilets are clean and newly renovated. There are two bathroom sinks but one was out of use at the time we were there.
In general, it was a memorable 3 days for all of us.
